WThis is an easy version of a cocktail found on our latest drinks list. Designed as a batch prepared mix that's bursting with the essence associated with Christmas time, rendering it ideal for a holiday party. Any leftover citrus syrup for breakfast cocktails, sweets, or to mix another batch of the drink.

Yields 10 people
For the Clementine Syrup (makes 750ml)
300ml fresh clementine juice
200ml newly squeezed lemon juice
500g granulated sugar
To make the Drink (yields 850ml, to serve 10)
400ml decent vodka
100ml classic gin
150ml peach schnapps
200ml citrus syrup (from the recipe above)
Fresh cranberries, to garnish
Mandarin essential oil, as a final touch
Directions
To prepare the Cordial: Put the listed items in a saucepan, heat until it reaches a light boil, stirring so the sugar melts. Next, turn off the stove and let it to cool down entirely. Pour into a clean bottle, cap it and store chilled, it will last for about one month.
To make Premix: Mix the specified liquids in a big jug, leave to sit for 60 minutes, then pass it through preferably using a fine cloth, making it perfectly clear.
For serving: Add 85ml of your cocktail base to a cocktail shaker filled with ice, and stir gently for a minute to chill. Filter to a cold coupe glass or a similar vessel, top with the cranberries adding the final touch using a brief mist of the essential oil over the drink.
